TODAY I had my mock exam on C-E consecutive interpreting. The content was easy but when I tried to interpret, I just couldn't make the sentence sound alright. Very frustrated. I don't know what's wrong with my English. It used to be my best subject but now it only upsets me and makes me feel stupid. :p I hate the feeling.
I went to the gym as usual but not very motivative today. I only stayed there for 30 mins and then I left. After coming home, I gave Tim a ring. We had a nice conversation, well, at least there's no fighting.
I had miso soup for dinner. I showed my talent in cooking at the beginning of the school year but after my diet plan, I seem to lose some sense in cooking. Hmm.....not a good sign.

Tomorrow I will go to Victoria Park to party and enjoy the firework. Hopefully I can catch some good shots. Tripod, yes.

Good night, strangers

Yesterday (1hr 20 mins ago) wasn't very impressive.
It was raining a little. I missed my last simultaneous interpreting class, so did other 5 students. Then we had a mock exam on E-C translation. E-C teacher was kinda strict...always gave low grades...or was it just me??? :p

I went for invigilation training session this afternoon. It was pretty relaxing. Then we did a bit campus tour to see where the exam venues would be. I was hoping there would be tea time but they forgot to send it.

I went to the gym and biked again. I wanted to try other equipment but biking was the easiest and could be done alone. I sweat quite a bit and it felt great. I was happy imagining all the caleries the burnt! Hopefully I can get down to 48 kg by the time I return to Taiwan. However, it's hard to keep the diet in Flat 2.6. Flatmates are all great cook. Ching-Ling roasted a turky tonight and it's....OISHII !!!

Off to bed now.
Goodnight, strangers.

Yesterday (40 mins ago) was a rough rough rough....day.
I thought I could do better on the liaison interpreting this time but again I failed myself. I want to swear!!!! #$&$**!$!@!$%!@#$
Tears almost fell down but the least pride kept it from falling. Well, couldn't do anything with the nose though. :p
I went to the gym as usual after class. It was a very "productive" work out. I am proud of myself because I held back tears successfully when spinning biking.
Sher texted me for dinner. I appreciated that very much. That's what I needed at that moment...FOOD!!!

Locked in the room, I cried like hell. The sky cried too. I opened the window let the tears dropped in. I missed mommy and PA and everyone in Taiwan. I called my best friend in college, Julian. I didn't know what to do without her comfort. I had dinner afterwards...but I kept the poor flatmates waiting for 30 mins...

Sher took 2 tulips from the roundabout infrom of St. Mary Church. One for me and one for Ching-ling.

Then me and David were IMing each other. He is off to bed now so I guess I should do the same too.

Goodnight, strangers.

Yesterday(30 mins ago) I went on a country churches excursion with Thanos and Vicky. We visited All Saints, Lullington, Mells-St. Andrew andn Nunney Castle. It was a neat trip. We had cream tea at the end of the trip but we still felt hungry. We decided to eat out when we went back to Bath. Due to the poor knowledge of restaurants in Bath, we wandered about in the city center looking for a decent place to eat. We ended up going to the restaurant next to Browns. The place looked expensive but the food was maa maa...so so...
Though we just had our dinner, we were still thinking and talking about food. We were thinking where to eat next time. Sakura-the fancy, posh one-came to our minds. (must be crazy) We went into the Windsor Hotel and asked for their menu. 25 pounds per person...
Back home and started studying.
Searching for SARS vocabulary...sleepy...-__-zzz
good night.
